No sleep for the child who is forgotten.
For the rain and the cold make the child walk on.
There is no comfort in the busy streets of night.
This forgotten child... is one to never have walked alone.

Until now, the days of the child were filled with sunlight and warmth.
Tonight, the child walks on their own.
The child is fearful and afraid.
The child does not know which way to turn, or where dangers lurk.
The child... has no sense on where is home.

With no sleep, the child walks on, down an endless forgotten highway.
Not one car passes as the child continues.
Walking down the road with streetlights flickering off out of sight, the child tiredly shuffles on.
With the pouring rain, and the endless darkness in the child's sight... only one wish remains......
Will I ever be remembered?
